St. Joseph's Youth Ministry is a fun and creative program
designed to enrich the lives of teenagers currently in the 7th - 12th, grade through social, service,
and spiritual opportunities both on and off the parish grounds.
7th & 8th graders have the opportunity to gather twice a month: once with their peers for
a "special
event", usually on a Friday evening; and again with the entire teen community for the parish "Teen
Mass", with dinner and discussion to follow. This evening is led by the high school teens. 7th
and 8th graders are encouraged to participate until 7:30 pm. The high school teens continue on until 8:30 pm.
They are strongly encouraged to participate by lectoring, ushering, greeting, and also musically, in
our monthly "Teen Mass" which takes place the first Sunday of each month.
Our High School Program is open to all high school teens. This community meets twice a month on Sundays,
in the St. Agnes room, beginning with dinner at 6:30 pm and closing at 8:30 pm. They are also strongly
encouraged to participate with their gifts and talents in the "Teen Mass" as well.
Throughout the year, there will be many fun opportunities for all. Please check the bulletin and our Web
Site for monthly updates.
